PROUDLocks...Not Dreadlocks (and they don't smell like patchouli oil or weed :)

Now that the "dreadlocks" controversy between Zendaya & Guliana has fully ceased, I would love to reflect for a moment. Dreadlocks, which I learned is probably the dumbest term you can use to classify the natural locking of one's hair, really should be termed PROUDLOCKS. Wearers of these interlocked and wrapped styles are amazing, no matter the style of matting and/or manipulation. Fortunately, locks don't smell like "patchouli oil or weed." They smell like the oils and shampoos used by the wearer.

Here are some tips that make your natural twists and PROUDlocks smell wonderful.

- Rose Essential Oils

- Tea Tree Oil

- Lemon Juice

- Lavender Essential Oil

- Vanilla Oil

- Orange Essential Oil

- Frankincense Essential Oil

- Myrrh Essential Oil

Remember, essential oils are always better than manufactured oils. Always use oils in limits to find the best scent for you. Mixing and blending oils can give you a wonderful combination and unique fragrance.
